let me warn you that this post is about Jesus and about you.

Unconfessed and Unrepentant sin will eat your flesh and soul away like cancer. that thing that you hate about yourself; the thing you swear you won’t tell anyone. It will RUIN you, eventually. If you don’t take care of it, run to the cross, and give it to Jesus, you might as well commit spiritual suicide.

when Jesus died, he died 100%. he didn’t die for 99% of your sin. He didn’t die for all the “acceptable” sins that are easy to tell other people. 

His blood was shed, his brow was torn apart, his flesh hung from the bones on his body for the deepest, darkest most disgusting sin and filth of your life that you, in your pride will not confess. You won’t tell a soul. You feel shame and guilt. You apparently care more about your reputation than the condition of your heart.

Why even call yourself a Christian if you aren’t going to trust that God has the absolute best for you? Do you know what that “best” is? THE CROSS.

Why have a stupid little Jesus fish on your car if you aren’t willing to give him ALL of you?

you hypocrite.

nothing is more important than Jesus on this earth.

not your education, not your husband or wife, not your wants, not your worries and not your feelings.

Jesus will not stand in front of you when you die and pat you on the back for your fancy Degree from some expensive college. He won’t. 

if the cross isn’t the focus of your life, you will lose it. You will grow weary and tired of everything because nothing else will ever satisfy that empty cave in your heart.Some things might try to, but nothing else will ever fit so perfectly like Jesus does. Eventually, if jesus isn’t the focus of your life, you’re going to fall away just like God himself prophecied.

don’t fall away from Christ.

He is calling out your name and interceding to the Father in heaven on YOUR behalf.

don’t be apathetic. Don’t let your love grow cold or lukewarm.
